We’re excited to introduce S.E.R.V.E. Weekend, a fresh opportunity for our church to demonstrate the love of Christ by blessing our local community and deepening relationships within our body. We want our practice to match our beliefs – to worship in Spirit and truth while thinking more highly of others than we do ourselves and using our resources to serve our ministry partners and those in need.
What is S.E.R.V.E. Weekend?
On S.E.R.V.E. Weekends, we will come together to participate in various service projects throughout the metro area, with serving opportunities on both Saturday and Sunday. These projects will be diverse and include options that the whole family can help with!
Unlike our 5th Sundays from previous years, these S.E.R.V.E Weekends won’t be determined by the calendar—instead, they’ll pop up at various times during the year, giving us flexible and intentional opportunities to live out our calling as servants of Christ. (2025 dates are January 11 & 12; April 12 & 13; and October 11 & 12)

Registration closes at 8:00 am Monday, April 7th!

This project will consist of organizing and sorting through supplies. This will include labeling and carrying supplies. This project is kid friendly.

This project will take place on Saturday April 12th from 10 am to 12 pm
Join a group of people to organize food shelves, clean, and various other projects. This project is kid friendly.
Project Location: 1203 Hartford Avenue, Des Moines, IA, 50315
This project will take place on Sunday April 13th from 1 pm to 3 pm.
Join a group of people to organize items inside and/or landscaping outside. This project is kid friendly.
Project Location: 1204 Linden Street, Dallas Center, IA 50063
This project will take place on Saturday April 12th at 9 am from 11 am.
This project will consist or organizing and putting away items in the store. This project is kid friendly.
Project Location: Clive – 8801 University Ave, Clive, IA 50325
This project will take place on Saturday April 12th from 9 am to 11 am.
