New Families
New Families

Upon arrival to Harvest Bible Chapel, new families should head downstairs and be greeted by Harvest Kids check-in. We are happy to show your family to their classrooms and help everyone get settled. For your own peace of mind, we want you to know that all teachers are background-checked, trained, and supervised.

During Service
During Service

Your child will be discipled in both large and small groups. Large group time consists of worship, teaching and games. Small group time includes lesson application, scripture memory and prayer. Both large and small group times allow kids to experience Biblical truths verbally, visually, and through hands on activities

After Service
After Service

Come downstairs after service and pick up your child(ren) using the tag received at check-in. From there they will receive a take home that has a lesson recap and questions you can unpack as a family at home. Feel free to ask any volunteer any questions you have!

Teaching

As a parent, you have the privilege of nurturing the faith of your children and have opportunities in everyday situations that can be used to apply the truth of God. We believe nurturing a child's faith is not merely a classroom experience, but rather a consistent weaving of spiritual truth with everyday life. To come along side you as you disciple your child, we are committed to Biblical teaching.

KNOW: WORSHIP CHRIST

God is seeking worshipers, and we want our children to become followers of Jesus Christ the Lord (John 1:12), who will worship God in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).

GROW: WALK WITH CHRIST

Jesus is the friend who sticks closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24). We want our children to understand and begin to experience a personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ in community with other children (1 John 1:7).

SHOW: WORK FOR CHRIST

The Holy Spirit has given every believer gifts and abilities, which are to be used in the service of Christ’s kingdom (1 Corinthians 14:12). We want our children to experience the joy of serving Christ and seeing their gifts used for His glory (John 9:24).

Curriculum

The curriculum we are using for Harvest Kids is Truth 78! Truth78 is a vision-oriented ministry for the next generations—that they may know, honor, and treasure God, setting their hope in Christ alone, so that they will live as faithful disciples for the glory of God.God-centered children's ministry is fueled by a biblical vision for worship, biblical literacy, and faith in the next generation. It involves the willing participation of pastors, parents, congregations, and children's ministry workers in an earnest effort to proclaim the praiseworthy name and testimony of the Lord to children of all ages.

"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when your walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates."
- Deuteronomy 5:6-9
